Community of Learners 2
Historical/Cultural Context Made Easy
Individual Participant Data Webpage - "Teacher Resource CD"
(Opens on any computer with a Browser - Not published to the World Wide Web)
The
following is the material received from the Institute powers
that be. Please read carefully and complete the
task. Goal: To
provide a method of data storage and retrieval using web
page technology, that allows the participants to take home
resources found or created while at the Institute. This is
not designed to teach web page creation skills. Tech
support people will be available on site to work with
participants who wish to further explore web site creation
(time permitting) and learn to publish this data to the web
as a website. Procedure:
Provided with a "fill in the blanks" template, participants
will be asked to save their research data, planned
instruction, leadership action plan and resources created or
collected during the Institute in HTML format as a take home
resource for planned instruction. After the participants
have transferred these materials to their Front Page Express
Template, and checked any links to be sure they work, the
Community Leader will score the resulting Teacher Resource
using the checklist below. Tech people will be on hand to
handle any problems. The final product will be burned onto
a CD-Rom by tech for the participants to access on their
home computers. Note:
Participants will also contribute to their Community's
Webpage as required by the Community Leader.
